1984 Seiko Moonphase Chronograph

1984 Seiko Moonphase Chronograph.

A marvelous Seiko with a celestial twist. Gold plated 37mm case with stepped bezel, golden geometric motif dial with roman numerals on chapter ring, applied indices, elegant leaf hands, and four subdials. Moonphase and Calendar at 12 o'clock, seconds at 6 o'clock, 1/10 seconds at 3 o'clock, and elapsed minutes at 9 o'clock. 

This example appears to be a commemorative piece to mark a special milestone, by the caseback engraving.

Thickness: 12mm including domed acrylic crystal

Movement: Seiko 7A48 Quartz. Runs and keeps time.

In excellent condition. Minimal wear for age. Crystal has been replaced with a new one. Comes with a new aftermarket croc grain brown/cherry leather strap with quick release springbars - good for daily use. See photos for details - they are part of the description. Overall a very nice piece that is ready to wear and enjoy.
