1980 Seiko Blue Starfish Diamond Ellipse.

A classic Seiko Ellipse with a blue geometric starfish pattern dial, applied dot indices with a diamond at 12 o'clock, a gold tone ellipse case, sharp dauphine hands, and blue cabochon crown. All inspired by high horology design language for a fraction of the price. Comes with a new old stock aftermarket lizard grain black leather strap.  

This is a special award piece dedicated to James V. Moltzen, Fire Fighter, recognizing 25 years of service to the Montvale Fire Dept. There is an inscription on the caseback that reads:

Movement: Seiko 2620 Quartz. Runs and keeps time.

In excellent condition. Minimal wear for age. Crystal is clean. Aftermarket strap is new old stock and is good for daily use. Diamond has not been inspected for grade or authenticity. It is most likely a sapphire diamond. See photos for details - they are part of the description. Overall a very nice piece that is ready to wear and enjoy.
